Ball Joint: Testing and Inspection

BALL JOINT INSPECTION
1. Raise front of vehicle until both wheels are suspended.
2. Shake bottom edge of tire in and out and inspect lower end of knuckle and lower control arm for movement
3. If movement is observed, replace lower control arm assembly. Refer to Lower Control Arm, Replace for procedure.
