Rear Door Window Glass: Service and Repair

STATIONARY QUARTER GLASS REMOVAL
1. Remove door trim panel and water shield.

Bright Trim Moulding:

2. Remove screws holding exterior trim molding to door belt.
3. Remove bright trim molding.
4. Remove rear door glass.
5. Remove belt line inner weatherstrip from the door.

Rear Door Glass:

6. Drill out pop rivet holding quarter glass frame to the top of door.
7. Remove bolt holding quarter glass frame to the door.
8. Slide quarter glass frame toward front of door.
9. Tilt top of quarter glass frame forward and remove quarter glass and frame from door.

STATIONARY QUARTER GLASS INSTALLATION
1. Insert quarter glass into the door and align properly.
2. Install bolt holding quarter glass to inner door panel.
3. Install pop rivet holding quarter glass and frame to top of the door frame.
4. Install door glass.
5. Install the belt line inner weatherstrip.
6. Install bright trim molding.
7. Install water shield and door trim panel.

REAR DOOR GLASS REMOVAL
1. Remove door trim panel and water shield.
2. Remove screws holding exterior trim molding to door inner panel.

Bright Trim Moulding:

3. Remove bright trim molding.

Rear Door Glass:

4. Raise glass so attaching bolts are visible as shown.
5. Remove the bolts holding glass to window regulator.
6. Allow glass to rest on the bottom of the door.
7. Remove the belt line inner weatherstrip from the door.
8. Remove glass through the opening at the top of door.
9. Reverse the above procedure for installation.
