SYMPTOM/CONDITION

The bright molding inserts used on 1988-90 Premier ES models may become cloudy, milky or may separate from the molding. The insert can be replaced without replacing the molding. If one molding insert is replaced, all six inserts must be replaced.

PARTS REQUIRED

1 B/S Molding Insert Package PN 4626163


REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Remove the defective inserts from the moldings.

2. Clean all adhesive from the moldings.


NOTE: ADHESIVE CAN BE EASILY REMOVED BY RUBBING IT WITH A DRY CLEAN CLOTH.


3. Peel the paper backing off each new insert, align it, and install.

NOTE: THE NEW INSERTS AND THE VEHICLE MUST BE AT OR ABOVE ROOM TEMPERATURE (65~F).
POLICY: Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
