REMOVAL

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove wheel and tire assembly, then protect driveshaft boot with shop towel.
3. Loosen stabilizer bar inner bracket bolts and remove outer mounting brackets.
4. Remove lower ball joint keybolt, then loosen lower control arm bolts.
5. Lower stabilizer bar, then with brass or plastic mallet, tap out ball joint in direction of arrow.

INSTALLATION

1. Install new ball joint in lower control arm and finger tighten bolts.
2. Insert ball stud in steering knuckle. Torque ball joint keybolt and nut to specifications.
3. Finger tighten stabilizer bar outer mounting brackets.
4. With vehicle weight supported by wheels, torque inner and outer stabilizer bar mounting brackets to specifications.
