Heater A/C Control Motor Removal and Installation
NOTE: BEFORE REMOVING AND INSTALLING THE MOTORS FIRST MAKE SURE THAT ALL REFERENCE MARKS ARE ALIGNED.AIR RECIRCULATION MOTOR
1. Removal of the air recirculation motor can take place only after removal of the instrument panel and partial removal of the heater A/C housing.
2. Remove the fasteners located on the front firewall and push the air conditioner toward the rear without removing the connecting ducts.
FIGURE 22:
3. Remove the screws (e) which fasten the recirculation housing (Figure 22).
4. Remove the brown connector (H) connected to the wiring harness and the 2 screws (f) which fasten the motor (294) (Figure 22).

5. To install the motor, reverse the removal procedure.
AIR BLEND MOTOR
1. The air blend motor (D) can be removed only after the instrument panel has been removed (Figure 23).
2. Remove the white connector (E) (Figure 23).
3. Remove the 2 motor fastening screws (j) (Figure 23).
4. To install the motor, begin by aligning all reference marks 2 by 2 (reference marks on gears 1, 2, 3). The motor must be installed when the gears are in this position. If the reference mark on the motor is not opposite the reference mark on the gear (3), apply a voltage to the motor, between terminals A1 and A3 of connector (E), in order to bring the reference mark in line, so that installation of the motor can proceed normally without putting any stress on the fasteners (Figure 23). To reverse the direction of rotation, reverse the polarities of the (A1) and (A3) terminals of the motor.
FIGURE 24:
NOTE: BEFORE INSTALLING THE MOTOR ON THE HOUSING, CHECK THAT THE REFERENCE MARKS ON THE DRIVE PINION AND ON THE MOTOR SHAFT ARE PROPERLY ALIGNED; ALSO CHECK THAT THE BRACKETS (k) ARE PROVIDED WITH BUSHINGS (FIGURE 24).

AIR DISTRIBUTION MOTOR
1. Removal of the air distribution motor can take place only after the instrument panel has been removed.
2. Remove the black connector (D) (Figure 25).
3. Remove the 2 motor fastening screws (1) (Figure 25).
4. Before installing the motor, check that all reference marks (4, 5, 6, 7) are properly aligned (Figure 25).

BLOWER MOTOR CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
1. The heater A/C blower motor control module (F) (Figure 27) can be removed without removing the instrument panel.
2. Remove the sound-proofing material.
3. Remove the 2 fastening screws (m) (Figure 27).
4. Disconnect the connector, but only after the module has been taken out of the housing.
