Intermediate Steering Shaft

Fig. 67 Marking Positions Of Intermediate Shaft To Steering Gear Coupling:

1. Remove upper steering shaft and top bushing.
2. Move toeboard boot away from intermediate shaft coupling.
3. Mark position of intermediate shaft to steering gear coupling (N) for assembly. Mark both coupling and shaft on steering gear.
4. Remove coupling pinch bolt (P), then remove intermediate steering shaft (Q) and toe board boot.
