Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Service and Repair
WARNING: Do not loosen cooling system pressure caps, hoses or bleed screws while coolant is hot and system is under pressure. Allow system to cool before servicing the system.1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove hood, if necessary.
3. Remove grille attaching screws, then the grille.
4. Remove radiator support and face panel attaching screws, then the support and panel.
5. Remove mount attaching screws, then disconnect lower radiator hose. Drain coolant into a suitable container.
6. Remove upper and lower radiator hoses.
7. Disconnect electrical connectors from electric cooling fan and cooling fan thermo switch.
8. Remove fan assembly attaching bolts, then the fan assembly.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
