Drive Cable and Cable Sheath Replacement

1. Remove the sunroof tray assembly as follows:

A. Disconnect all four drain tubes (K) (Figure 7 & 8).

B. Remove the retaining nuts that secure the sunroof tray to the roof and remove the sunroof tray (L) (Figure 8).

C. Disconnect the battery negative cable.

D. Disconnect the electrical connector at the motor.

2. Remove two of the three motor-to-cable fastening screws (Q) (Figure 10).
3. Remove the two screws (R) (Figure 10) from the center crossmember.

4. Remove the two screws (S) (Figure 10) retaining the sheath to the sunroof tray and remove the drive cable and cable sheath assembly.

5. To install the new drive assembly, reverse the above procedure.
