Radio/Stereo: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Open glove compartment door.

3. Remove four radio trim panel attaching screws (A), then remove trim panel.

4. Using a 5/32 inch drill bit, remove rivets (B) from both sides of radio, then remove anti-theft brackets (C).
5. Remove Torx head bolt retaining radio assembly to instrument panel.
6. Pull radio outward, then disconnect electrical connectors and antenna lead.
7. Remove radio assembly.
8. Reverse procedure to install. When installing radio, use 3/16 inch short shank rivets.
