Fuel Pressure Release: Service and Repair

Fuel Injector Connector:

PROCEDURE:
1. Loosen fuel tank filler cap to relieve fuel tank pressure.
2. Disconnect injector wiring harness at injector, and connect a jumper wire from one terminal of the injector connector to ground.
3. Connect a second jumper wire to the other terminal of the injector connector, and touch the battery positive post for no more than 5 seconds. Fuel system pressure is now released.
