INSPECTION OF CLAMP AT COOLANT RECOVERY BOTTLE
Some 1988 Medallion models may have a coolant bottle hose clamp mispositioned which may touch the fuel supply lines. This clamp should be repositioned during pre-delivery to provide proper clearance as shown.
PROCEDURE
1. Open hood and locate coolant recovery bottle (A).
2. Loosen clamp (B) and position it so that the head of the clamp screw is away from the fuel lines (C) as shown. Tighten clamp.
3. Push retainer strap (D) up the coolant bottle hose (E) to move fuel lines (C) away from clamp (B).
4. Close hood.
