8801 - Front Disc Brake Pads - All ModelsReplace the front disc brake pads, using Pad Kit, Chrysler P/N T1202815 (AMC P/N 7701202815), by following the procedure provided in M.R. 289.
8802 - Air Conditioning Pressure Hose - All Models So Equipped
The new improved hose can be identified by a black sleeve covering the hose. If the sleeve is present, this replacement service is not required. If no sleeve covers the hose, replace the hose using P/N T0791355 (7700791355) and the M.R. 289 instructions.
Caution:
Be sure to use a backup wrench when removing and installing the hose end fitting at the condenser. Failure to do so may allow the condenser fitting to twist and damage the condenser.

8803 - Driveability -- Automatic Transmission Equipped Models
Correction requires replacement of the Electronic Control Unit (ECU).
Important:
Most of the subject vehicles are already equipped with the latest ECU, either as delivered to dealers or from previous service repair. Already corrected units can be identified by the presence of a daub of red paint on the visible end of the clamshell that houses the ECU -- Location A of Figure 1 -- or by the Homologation Number HOM 7700 742 979 on the ECU below the part number at Location B of Figure 2.
If ECU replacement is required (no daub of paint and/or absence of the 7700 742 979 Homologation Number), replace the ECU as follows with P/N T1464854 (7701464854).
