Exhaust Manifold - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Raise vehicle.
3. Remove exhaust pipe to manifold bolts.
4. Remove engine mount through bolts.
5. Lower vehicle.
6. Install Engine Support Fixture 8534B (1).
7. Raise engine enough to remove manifolds.

CAUTION: Do not damage engine harness while raising the engine.





8. Remove heat shield.
9. Remove manifold bolts.
10. Remove manifold and gasket.
