Pilot Bearing: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Remove transmission assembly from the vehicle.
2. Remove clutch cover and disc.
3. Remove the pilot bearing. Use an internal puller and slide hammer if the bearing proves difficult to remove.
INSTALLATION
1. Lubricate the new bearing with Mopar high temperature wheel bearing grease.
2. Insert the new bearing into the engine crankshaft by hand or with a clutch alignment tool.
3. Install the clutch disc and cover.
4. Install transmission assembly into the vehicle.
