NOTE: Before proceeding, review all SERVICE WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS found under Suspension, Service Precautions.

REMOVAL
1. Raise vehicle. See Maintenance for the required lifting procedure.







2. Remove the bolts securing the stabilizer bar bushing retainers to the frame.






3. Remove the bushing retainers from the stabilizer bar bushings .
4. Remove the bushings by opening the slit in the each bushing and peeling the bushing off the stabilizer bar.

INSTALLATION
1. Thoroughly clean the stabilizer bar in the area where the bushings contact the stabilizer bar.
2. Install the new bushings on the stabilizer bar by opening the slit in each and wrapping the bushings around the stabilizer bar.
3. Position the stabilizer bar bushings on the bar so they are against the retaining rings on the stabilizer bar.
4. Install the bushing retainers on the bushings.
5. Reattach the stabilizer bar to the frame. Tighten the retainer attaching bolts to a torque of 68 Nm (50 ft. lbs.).
6. Lower the vehicle.
