NOTE: Before proceeding, review all SERVICE WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS found under Service Precautions.

REMOVAL
1. Raise vehicle. See Maintenance for the required lifting procedure.







2. Remove the bolts securing the stabilizer bar bushing retainers to the upper frame rail.
3. Remove the bushing retainers from the stabilizer bar bushings.
4. Remove the old bushings by opening the slit in the bushing and peeling the bushing off the stabilizer bar.

INSTALLATION
1. Thoroughly clean the stabilizer bar in the area where the bushing contacts the stabilizer bar.
2. Install the new bushings on the stabilizer bar by opening the slit in the bushing and wrapping the bushing around the stabilizer bar.
3. Position the stabilizer bar bushings so they are against the retainer rings on the stabilizer bar.
4. Install the bushing retainers on the bushings.
5. Install the stabilizer bar retainer attaching bolts. Tighten and torque the bolts to 68 Nm (50 ft. lbs.).
6. Lower the vehicle.
