Canister Purge Solenoid: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Raise vehicle and support.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove left front wheel.

4. Remove the access plug in the front of the wheel well.

5. Disconnect vacuum lines from purge solenoid.
6. Disconnect electrical connector from purge solenoid.
7. Remove solenoid from the bracket.

INSTALLATION
1. Install solenoid to the bracket.
2. Connect the electrical connector and vacuum lines to the purge solenoid.
3. Install the access plug in the front of the wheel well.
4. Install left front wheel.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
6. Lower vehicle.
7. Use the DRBIII(R) scan tool, verify proper operation of LDP.
