Rear Fender Liner: Service and Repair
REAR WHEELHOUSE SPLASH SHIELDREMOVAL
1. Hoist and support vehicle on safety stands.
2. Remove rear wheel and tire assembly.

3. Remove lower rear splash shield (Fig. 12).

4. Remove pop rivets attaching wheelhouse splash shield to trunk pan, and quarter panel. Retrieve any shim spacers found between the quarter panel, trunk and wheelhouse (Fig. 13).
5. Remove fasteners attaching wheelhouse splash shield to passenger compartment closure panel, and frame.
6. Remove wheelhouse splash shield from vehicle.
INSTALLATION
1. Position wheelhouse splash shield to vehicle.
2. Install push pin fasteners attaching wheelhouse splash shield to passenger compartment closure panel, and frame.
3. Install pop rivets attaching wheelhouse splash shield to trunk pan, quarter panel, and shim spacers.
4. Install lower rear splash shields.
5. Install rear wheel and tire assembly.
