ACCESSORY DRIVE BELT

Satisfactory performance of the belt driven accessories depends on belt condition and proper belt tension.

Belt replacement under any or all of the following conditions is required:
1. Excessive wear.
2. Frayed cords.
3. Severe glazing.

Drive Belt Inspection:

V-Ribbed belt system with back drive pulley may develop minor cracks across the ribbed side (due to reverse bending). These minor cracks are considered normal and acceptable. Parallel cracks are not.
