Service Notes

The Viper uses only 2 park brake cables. Each cable is attached to an equalizer at the park brake mechanism and to each rear disc brake caliper assembly.

To gain access to the rear park brake cables, the equalizer and the park brake mechanism, the console assembly must be removed from vehicle.

Should it become necessary to remove either parking brake cable for installation of a new cable, refer to removal procedures.
