Unit Inspection

To check, remove engine coolant temperature gauge unit from the intake manifold of the SOHC engine.

Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge Unit Resistance

Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge Unit Inspection: Step (1):

1. Immerse unit in 70°C (158°F) water to measure resistance.
Standard value: 104 ± 13.5 Ohms

Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge Unit Inspection: Step (2):

2. After checking, apply the specified sealant around the thread of engine coolant temperature gauge unit and install on the intake manifold of the SOHC engine.
Specified sealant: MOPAR Part No. 4318034 or equivalent.
