Code No. 45, 46, 85 Pressure Control Solenoid Valve (PCSV) System

Description

If the pressure control solenoid valve shows a high resistance value, code No. 45 is output to indicate that the pressure control solenoid valve is open-circuited. If it shows a low resistance value, code No. 46 is output to indicate that the pressure control solenoid valve is short-circuited. If control No. 45 or 46 is output four times, fail safe code No. 85 is output to indicate that pressure control solenoid valve has been open- or short-circuited and this activates the fail safe function to lock transaxle at the 3rd speed (D) or 2nd speed (2, L).
