EGR Control Solenoid Valve Location:

LOCATION
On the center of the firewall

PURPOSE
EGR control solenoid is an electrically operated valve. It is controlled by the ECU and permits EGR operation.

OPERATION
When energized, electromagnetism closes the valve, closing the passage between the two ports.
