Radiator Cooling Fan Motor Relay: Description and Operation

Relay And Diagnostic Connector Locations:

LOCATION

Relay located on left strut tower.

FUNCTION

Relay supplies battery voltage to radiator fan.

OPERATION

Engine controller energizes relay by completing ground circuit. Relay is energized when coolant temperature exceeds set limit, or air conditioning is turned ON.
