REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
2. Loosen the accessory drive belt.
3. Remove the spark plug wire holder.

4. Remove the air conditioning compressor mounting bolts. Carefully position the air conditioning compressor in the right side fender well and secure in place Fig. 2.

5. Loosen the cylinder head cover mounting bolts Fig. 3.
6. Remove the cylinder head cover and the old gasket Fig. 3.

INSTALLATION
1. Clean the cylinder head and cylinder head cover mating surfaces.
2. Apply a light coating of Mopar Gasket-in-a-Tube Sealer, or equivalent, to the top of the timing case cover to cylinder head joint areas.
3. Install the cylinder head cover using a new gasket.
4.Install the spark plug holder.
5. Tighten the cylinder head cover bolts to 12 Nm (9 ft.lbs.) torque.
6. Install the air conditioning compressor. Tighten the mounting bolts to 27 Nm (20 ft.lbs.) torque.
7. Install the accessory drive belt.
8. Connect the battery negative cable.
