Verification Test VER-1
VERIFICATION TEST 11. Attempt to start the engine. If the engine will not start, NS-1A Qualifying A No Start Condition
2. If the engine starts and the engine controller has been replaced, the NO START condition has been corrected and the repair is now complete.
3. If the engine starts, but the engine controller was not replaced perform the following procedure:
a. Connect the DRB II to the engine diagnostic connector and erase the fault codes.
b. The no start condition has been corrected and the fault messages have been erased. If the fault messages do not reset the repair is complete. If the fault message resets, or a new fault sets, proceed to step 4.
4. If the repaired fault resets, the repair is not complete. Check all pertinent TSB's. If necessary DR-1A CODE to DR TEST Chart (Checking for Fault Codes)
If another fault sets, return to TEST DR1A, and follow the path specified by the new fault.
5. When no faults are set after performing steps 3 and 4, the repair is complete.
