Fuel Tank Slow To Fill
THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO ALL WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLES BUILT PRIOR TO VIN NZ028154.
MODELS:
1992 (B8) Colt Vista/Summit Wagon
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Vehicles built prior to VIN NZ028154 may be slow to fill after the fuel tank is half full. This may result in complaints of the fuel filler nozzle frequently shutting off while filling the tank. This condition is caused by the left side of the fuel tank not filling due to a baffle placed in the center of the tank. Installation of a new fuel tank with a relocated fuel leveling pipe will correct this condition.
