EGR Solenoid Valve

EGR Solenoid Location:

LOCATION
On the LH side of the firewall

PURPOSE
The EGR control solenoid valve is an electrically operated valve. It is controlled by the ECU and permits EGR operation.

OPERATION
When energized, electromagnetism closes the valve, closing the passage between the two ports.
