Rollover Valve: Description and Operation

Fuel Check Valve:

LOCATION
Connected in the fuel vapor line (between the fuel tank hook-up and [1][2]overfill limiter) and is mounted on the fuel tank.


PURPOSE
The fuel check valve prevents fuel leaks should the car suddenly roll over.

OPERATION
Under normal conditions, the gasoline vapor passage in the valve is opened, but if roll over occurs at least one of the two balls closes the fuel passage preventing fuel leaks.
