Differential Assembly: Service and Repair

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove rear wheel and tire assemblies.
3. Disconnect shock absorbers from axle.
4. Loosen adjustment nuts to allow balls on end of parking brake cables to pass through access holes. Remove cables from body support.
5. Disconnect brake hoses from metal brake lines and axle.
6. Position supporting jack under axle assembly and remove attaching bolts.
7. Remove axle assembly by lowering support jack.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
