Left and right rocker shaft assemblies are identical and can be installed on either cylinder head, however, when reusing these assemblies always install shaft on original cylinder head.

Oil galley plugs in ends of rocker shafts are pressed in and are not replaceable. When disassembling shaft, position parts aside in order of removal.
1. Remove lock screw (A), pedestal (B) and thick spacer (C), Fig. 9.
2. Remove rocker arm with automatic lash adjuster on right (D).
3. Remove thin spacer (E).
4. Remove rocker arm with automatic lash adjuster on left (F).
5. Remove spring (G), then the circlip from end of rocker shaft (H).
6. Reverse procedure to assemble and install. Torque attaching screw to specifications.
