Parking Brake Cable: Adjustments

1. Push down on parking brake pedal until one click is heard. Pedal must be in this position for proper cable adjustment.
2. Attach a suitable torque wrench to adjusting tool No. J-34651-A.
3. Align notches in tool head with center of parking brake cable.
4. Tighten adjusting nut to remove slack from cable.
5. Torque cable to 100-110 lb-in using tool J-34651-A while tightening adjustment nut. To achieve proper adjustment, pointer on tool must be located in one of four dark bands on tool face.
