4C Power Supply Circuit

1. Turn the ignition switch to the Off position.
2. Disconnect the 60-way connector.
3. Connect a voltmeter between ground and the X-32 yellow/red wire in cavity No. 8 of the 60-way connector.
NOTE: Do not disconnect the speed control switch connector.
4. Turn the ignition switch to the On position.
5. If the voltmeter is reading battery voltage, replace the SMEC.
NOTE: Before replacing the SMEC, check the X-32 terminal in cavity No. 8 of the 60-way connector to make sure it is not damaged causing a poor connection.
6. If voltmeter is reading 0, repair the X-32 yellow/red wire of cavity No. 8 of the 60-way connector for an open circuit to the speed control switch.
