Front Door Window Glass: Service and Repair

Glass Guidance System:

REMOVAL
1. Remove trim panel and plastic air shield.
2. Loosen 2 glass stabilizers and position full inboard.
3. With glass one inch above full down position, detach glass lift plate from glass.
4. Remove glass through belt opening (clearance notches are provided in inner panel for glass mounting studs).

INSTALLATION
1. Position glass lift plate two inches above downstop.
2. Loosen 2 glass stabilizers and position full inboard.
3. Install the glass through belt opening (clearance notches are provided in inner panel for glass mounting studs).
4. Loosely fasten glass lift plate to glass.
5. Follow steps 4 through 8 of glass adjustment procedure.
