GENERAL INFORMATION
The most common cause of remote mirror failure are sharp kinks or bends in the cable and foreign material, usually rustproofing, in the mirror mechanism. Any sharp bends should be straightened and foreign material should be cleaned before discarding the mirror.

REMOVAL
1. Remove trim bezel.
2. Remove cable nut and push cable through instrument panel.
3. Remove grommet from cowl side panel and remove cable and grommet assembly from vehicle.
4. Place window in the full up position.
5. Remove fasteners securing mirror and remove mirrors and cable assembly from vehicle.
6. Reverse the above procedure for installation.
