Power Door Lock Actuator: Service and Repair

Power Door Lock System:

REMOVAL
1. Remove trim panel.
2. Remove inner panel air shield to gain access to large access hole.
3. Disconnect electric locking motor from wiring harness.
4. Disconnect link to latch.
5. Drill out two motor blind rivets and remove motor and link to latch through large access hole.

INSTALLATION
1. Install motor and link to latch through large access hole and install two motor attaching screws.
2. Connect link to latch.
3. Connect electric locking motor wiring harness.
4. Install inner panel air shield.
5. Install trim panel.
