REMOVAL
1. DO NOT apply tools to the resin part of the thermovalve.
2. Mark the vacuum hoses before removal.
3. Using a suitable wrench on the metal part of the thermovalve remove it from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Apply 3M locking sealant number 4171 (or its equivalent) to the threads of the thermovalve.
2. Install the thermovalve and tighten to 15-30 lb.ft (20-40 Nm).
