Fuel Injector Resistor: Description and Operation

The resistor limits the electric current flowing to the injector coil. The injector is required to respond quickly to the fuel injection signal. The fast response is achieved by reducing the number of turns of the injector coil and thereby improving current rise when the coil is energized.
