Camshaft Position Sensor (SOHC)

Removal Procedure




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the camshaft position (CMP) sensor bolts and sensor.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the CMP sensor and bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the camshaft position sensor bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb.in).

2. Connect the sensor electrical connector.
3. Connect the negative battery cable.
