SYMPTOM/CONDITION

Subject vehicles built prior to VIN #1C3BA44E2EG106727, may have an outside remote mirror on the left side, which could cause customer dissatisfaction because of mirror image shake.


PARTS REQUIRED

1 - Mirror Assembly PN 4318267


REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Remove door trim panel using service manual procedure.

2. Remove mirror access plugs.

3. Remove mirror attaching nuts.

4. Detach mirror cable routing clips from door inner panel and hinge pillar.

5. Carefully remove mirror assembly from car.

6. Position new mirror assembly to door and install attaching nuts. Torque to 60 inch pounds.

7. Route cable and snap clips in place.
8. Install the three mirror access plugs.

9. Install watershield, door trim, and hardware per service manual instructions.
