Recirculation Actuator Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the upper instrument panel (I/P) trim pad.
2. Locate the recirculation actuator (2).
3. Disconnect the recirculation actuator electrical connector (1).




4. Remove the recirculation actuator bolts/screws (1).
5. Remove the recirculation actuator (7).
6. Remove the recirculation actuator levers (3, 6), if necessary. Note positioning for re-installation.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the recirculation actuator levers (3, 6), if necessary.
2. Install the recirculation actuator (7).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

3. Install the recirculation actuator bolts/screws (1).

Tighten the screws to 1.2 N.m (11 lb in).




4. Connect the recirculation actuator electrical connector (1).
5. Install the upper I/P trim pad.
6. Re-calibrate the actuators. Refer to Actuators Recalibration. Programming and Relearning
