Engine Mount Strut Replacement - Right Side

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the intake manifold cover.
2. Loosen and remove the engine mount strut to engine mount strut bracket through bolt (3) and nut (4).




3. Loosen and remove the engine mount strut to engine mount strut bracket through bolt (4) and nut (5).
4. Remove the engine mount strut (6).
5. Inspect the rubber in the engine mount strut for the following conditions:
^ Hardness
^ Splitting
^ Cracking

Installation Procedure




1. Install the engine mount strut (6).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install and tighten the engine mount strut to engine mount strut bracket through bolt (4) and nut (5).

Tighten the bolt/nut to 48 N.m (36 lb ft).




3. Install the intake manifold cover.
4. Install and tighten the engine mount strut to engine mount strut bracket through bolt (3) and nut (4).

Tighten the bolt/nut to 48 N.m (36 lb ft).
