Engine Mount Bracket Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct.
2. Remove the engine mount struts.
3. Raise and support the vehicle.
4. Remove the catalytic converter.
5. Remove the right front wheel and tire.
6. Remove the right engine splash shield.
7. Remove the engine mount to frame nuts.
Notice: In order to avoid oil pan damage and possible engine failure, insert a block of wood that spans the width of the oil pan bottom between the oil pan and the jack support.
8. Place a utility stand and a block of wood under the oil pan in order to raise the engine.
9. Remove the engine mount bracket to oil pan bolts.
10. Remove the engine mount and bracket.
11. Remove the engine mount bracket to engine mount nuts.
12. Remove the engine bracket from the engine mount.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the engine mount bracket to the engine mount.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.
2. Install the engine mount bracket to engine mount nuts.
Tighten the nuts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
3. Install the engine mount and bracket to the oil pan.
4. Install the engine mount bracket to oil pan bolts.
Tighten the bolts to 58 N.m (43 lb ft).
5. Using the utility stand, lower the engine.
6. Install the engine mount to frame nuts.
Tighten the nuts to 47 N.m (35 lb ft).
7. Install the right engine splash shield.
8. Install the right front wheel and tire.
9. Install the catalytic converter.
10. Lower the vehicle.
11. Install the engine mount struts.
12. Install the air cleaner outlet duct.
