Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the radiator grille. Refer to Grille Replacement Service and Repair.
2. Remove the transmission fluid cooler hose from the auxiliary oil cooler (1).
3. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement Service and Repair.
4. Remove the transmission fluid cooler hose from the radiator (1).
5. Raise the vehicle.
6. Remove the front bumper. Refer to Front Bumper Replacement Service and Repair.
7. Remove the engine protection shield. Refer to Engine Protection Shield Replacement Service and Repair.
8. Remove the charge air cooler outlet hose. Refer to Charged Air Cooler Hoses/Pipes Replacement .
9. Remove the transmission fluid cooler hose from the radiator (2).
10. Disconnect Transmission Cooler Lines from clips, if equipped.
11. Remove the cooling lines from the transmission (1).
12. Remove the cooling lines from the transmission (2).
13. Remove the oil cooling line (1) that runs from the transmission to auxiliary oil cooler out the front of the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the transmission oil cooler line (1) that runs from the transmission to auxiliary oil cooler out the front of the vehicle.
2. Install the transmission oil cooler line (2) that runs from the transmission to auxiliary oil cooler out the front of the vehicle.
3. Connect the cooling lines to the transmission (1).
4. Connect Transmission Cooler Lines into clips, if equipped.
5. Install the transmission fluid cooler hose to the radiator (2).
6. Install the charge air cooler outlet hose. Refer to Charged Air Cooler Hoses/Pipes Replacement .
7. Install the engine protection shield. Refer to Engine Protection Shield Replacement Service and Repair.
8. Install the front bumper. Refer to Front Bumper Replacement Service and Repair.
9. Lower the vehicle.
10. Install the transmission fluid cooler hose to the radiator (1).
11. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement Service and Repair.
12. Install the transmission fluid cooler hose to the auxiliary oil cooler (1).
13. Install the radiator grille. Refer to Grille Replacement Service and Repair.
