Fuel Pressure Relief Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the glow plug module and bracket.
2. Remove the fuel pressure relief valve from the left fuel rail.

Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

1. Install the fuel pressure relief valve to the left fuel rail.

Tighten the valve to 100 N.m (74 lb ft).

2. Install the glow plug module and bracket.
3. Prime the fuel system. Refer to Fuel System Priming.
4. Start the engine. If the engine stalls, repeat the above step.
5. Once the engine starts, inspect for fuel leaks.
