Fan Shroud Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the radiator hose-outlet.





2. Remove the retaining clip (5) from the fan shroud slip ring.
3. Remove the transmission oil cooler lines from the fan shroud retainer.
4. Rotate the slip ring from under the fan shroud.
5. Remove the bolts (4) from the fan shroud (3).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the fan shroud (3) to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the bolts (4) to the fan shroud (3).
^ Tighten the bolts to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
3. Install the transmission oil cooler lines to the fan shroud retainer.
4. Rotate the slip ring to the original position.
5. Install the retaining clip (5) to the fan shroud.
6. Install the radiator hose-outlet.
