Park Brake Cable Equalizer Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Release the park brake.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.




3. Remove the threaded end of the right rear park brake cable from the adjuster.
4. Disconnect the cables from the equalizer.



Installation Procedure





1. Connect the rear park brake cables to the equalizer.
2. Install the threaded end of the right rear cable to the adjuster.
3. Remove the safety stands and lower the vehicle.
4. Adjust the park brake system. Refer to Park Brake Adjustment (Adjustments) .
