Center Rear (60/40 Split Bench)

SEAT BELT REPLACEMENT - CENTER REAR (60/40 SPLIT BENCH)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the rear seat.
2. Remove the recliner trim cover.
3. Remove the rear seat riser.
4. Remove the seat cushion cover retainers from the seat frame.




5. Remove the bolts securing the buckle side belts from the seat cushion frame.




6. Remove the buckle side belts (1) from the seat.
7. Remove the bolt (2) securing the mini-buckle from the 60 percent seat cushion frame.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the bolt (2) securing the mini-buckle to the 60 percent seat cushion frame.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the buckle side belts (1) to the seat.

Tighten
Tighten the mini-buckle bolt to 53 N.m (39 lb ft).




3. Install the bolts securing the buckle side belts to the seat cushion frame.

Tighten
Tighten the rear seat buckle belt bolts to 53 N.m (39 lb ft).

4. Install the seat cushion cover retainers to the seat frame.
5. Install the rear seat riser.
6. Install the recliner trim cover.
7. Install the rear seat.
