Park Brake Cable Replacement - Right Rear

Removal Procedure





1. Release the park brake.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
3. Loosen the park brake cable equalizer nut in order to remove the park brake left side cable from the park brake equalizer.





4. Remove the park brake cable from the park brake actuator.





5. Drill out the two (1) rivets retaining the park brake cable to the rear crossmember.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the park brake cable.
2. Install the park brake cable to the park brake cable bracket.
3. Install the park brake cable to the park brake actuator.





4. Install the park brake left side cable to the park brake equalizer.





5. Secure the park brake cable to the rear crossmember with two rivets (1).
6. Adjust the park brake cable.
7. Lower the vehicle.
