Clutch Shaft Bearing Replacement- Front Drive Axle

- J 34011 Pilot Bearing Remover
- J 33842 Pilot Bearing Installer

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the inner axle shaft and housing assembly. Refer to Inner Shaft and/or Housing Replacement - Front Drive Axle (8.25 S4WD and 9.25 Axles) or Inner Shaft and/or Housing Replacement - Front Drive Axle (8.25 F4WD Axle).
2. Remove the clutch shaft from the differential carrier assembly.
3. Remove the clutch shaft pilot bearing using the J 34011.

Installation Procedure





1. Lubricate the bearing with axle lubricant. Use the proper fluid. Refer to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations.
2. Install the clutch shaft pilot bearing using the J 33842.
3. Install the clutch shaft to the differential carrier assembly.
4. install the inner axle shaft and housing assembly. Refer to Inner Shaft and/or Housing Replacement -Front Drive Axle (8.25S4WDand 9.25 Axles) or Inner Shaft and/or Housing Replacement - Front Drive Axle (8.25 F4WD Axle).
